We use 1/4" in diameter mild steel for ALL the bar grills. Mild steel helmets get there grills either welded on directly or they use the lift latch system. Lift helmet grills are not physically attached. None of these grills are painted! |

Q. Why does my helmet ring? |
|
A. Your helm rings because it is hard without being brittle. If it makes a 'thud' kind of noise (without any padding) it is soft. Soft helmets dent. Hard helmets protect your head from dents! |
